These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, products and services provided by Ledgix (Australia) Pty Ltd (ABN 48 699 144 235) (“Ledgix”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old, be an Australian resident for tax purposes, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to keep it up to date.

Ledgix provides human-led financial admin services for self-employed individuals, which may include calculating and paying tax and GST, invoicing, expense tracking and the preparation and lodgement of tax documents.

While we use reasonable care and skill and engage qualified specialists, our services depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. You remain responsible for the truthfulness of the information you give us.

When using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete financial information in a timely manner.
• Keep your account credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorised use.
• Use our services only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.
• Review documents we prepare on your behalf before they are relied upon.

Our fees are described on our Pricing page and are generally charged as a percentage of payments you receive through Ledgix. We will make our fees clear before you start using the relevant service.

Fees are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. You authorise us to deduct applicable fees from payments processed through your account.

Our services involve dealing with third parties, including the Australian Taxation Office and financial institutions. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, decisions or delays of these third parties.

Statutory deadlines and obligations ultimately remain yours. We will take reasonable steps to meet them on your behalf based on the information you provide.

Information provided through our website, including guides and calculators, is general in nature and does not take into account your personal circumstances. It is not financial, legal or tax advice.

Any advice provided as part of our paid services is limited to the scope agreed with you and is subject to the information you provide.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the services is limited to re-supplying the services or paying the cost of having them re-supplied. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

You may stop using our services at any time, subject to settling any outstanding obligations. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where required by law.

On termination, certain provisions that by their nature should survive, including those relating to fees, liability and confidentiality, will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state and the Commonwealth of Australia.
